The closest and biggest international airport from us is in Montreal. There are frequent international flights. You can reach us by road from Montreal in 2hours 45minutes.

From Switzerland you can either take a direct flight to Dorval International Airport (YUL) or with a stop over in any other European country. The direct flight from Zurich usually takes between 6 ½ hours and 8 hours. However if you have a stop over it usually takes 3 to 4 hours longer than the direct flight.

The earlier you book the cheaper the tickets are as a general rule. That said sometimes last minute deals are available. Lately we have been getting cheaper flights booking through internet. Although a broker takes a certain percentage he may have a special deal that you will not find in the internet. Probably the best option is to get a few quotes from a broker/travel agency and then search the internet as well. From our experience it is also worth comparing the different airlines together, for example Swiss with Air Canada. We have been paying between SFr: 700.- to SFr. 1400.- ( Canadian $ 600 - $1100) for an adult with either Swiss, British Airways or Air Canada. Please find below a few useful websites.

Air Swiss is quite a good airline to fly with particularly if you have a child under the age of two, they also have a baby seat for children up to nine months. British Airways is also child friendly.
